Here is what we are tentatively looking like for the 2008 outdoor season for the Open division:

Games will start on May 14th. We will have a 13 week season with games being played on Wednesday nights at 6:30 at the Hope Complex with a couple exceptions - there are no fields available on May 28 so that week we'll play on Thursday May 29 and there will be no games the week of June 18th. The season will go through Aug. 13.

Fees are as follows:

$200 team deposit payable to MMMSL(refundable)

Player Fees:

$20 per player fee for MSA. Each team needs to turn in just 1 cashier's check or money order for the entire team made out to MSA and give it to Cedrix(he's the league registrar this year) when you register your team/players.

$5 per player fee for MMMSL. Can be a personal check for this, but again just one check for the entire team made out to MMMSL and give it to Cedrix.

Ref Fees:

$5.25 per team per game for ref assignment. This was last years amount and I'm checking on whether or not it has gone up, but it won't be a significant amount. With 13 games that's $68.25 per team. Please send a check made out to Matt Hagan to P.O. Box 1292 E. Lansing 48826 for this item.

$52.50 per team paid in cash to the refs at the beginning of each game. That's $682.50 for 13 games.

Field Fees:

$22.50 per team per game x 13 games = $292.50 per team. This check needs to be made out to Matt Hagan as well and mailed to the above address. I need this money right away so I can secure the fields.

Registrar Fee:

$50 per team paid to Cedrix Heraux when you register your team/players.

So if my math is correct that is a total of $1093.25 in set fees(excluding the deposit) per team plus a total of $25 per player. If you have 16 guys on the roster that is about $94 per player for 13 games which is about $7.25 per game per person. To put that in perspective we pay $850 for 8 games at Soccerzone which is $10.63 per game with 10 guys.

Let me know if I've made any mistakes in my math or if anyone has any major problems with it. I need the money for the fields ASAP and we start in less then a month so you'll need to get organized a lot quicker this year.
